"I am pleased to officially open the new Showroom and branch for the New Window Company to trade as Timber Windows of Stamford"

roy wakeman and staff at the timber windows of stamford grand opening

This will be our second venture on the back of the successful ownership of our Caythorpe Showroom after trading successfully for 5 years, and the 50th Showroom and independent sales outlet for Timber Windows.com the UK’s largest distributor of Timber Windows and doors with annual revenues approaching £50m.

Timber is now the material for the future as its historic green values for sustainability, thermal insulation and expected life of 65 years and more add major USP’s to the successful story. A fitting story for net zero requirements.

Timber got a bad reputation in the housebuilding boom years of the 60’s and 70’s when timber frames were used on the building site as pro-formers for the brickwork. before that very often these frames were stored out in the open air in all weathers so that after six months, they became saturated and moisture contents were such that subsequent rot would be built in post painting and site finishing.

This is when the plastic window industry took off offering fully finished, double glazed with so called no maintenance claims.  This appealed to the consumer who were part of the new house owning market and who wanted to add value to their homes.

This has now turned full circle with the demand for low carbon footprints as plastic products are mainly built out of oil-based products.

Timber Windows from us are energy efficient, as double glazing is now a given and our paint finishes give rise to low maintenance.

We offer market leading warranties on Paint (12 years); Timber against rot (30 years) glass units (10 years) and ironmongery (5 to 10 years).

Our products really add value to homes as our major source of new sales leads are referrals from our existing customers.

So, I officially declare this showroom open and look forward with our professional staff to seeing our business grow in the Stamford area.

Thanks
