Welcome to The New Window Company
We are the leading provider of timber, timber alternative and uPVC windows and doors in the East Midlands, installing across Lincolnshire, Rutland, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
We showcase a range of our award winning products in our extensive Lincolnshire showroom. Come and have a look around, test out our working, full size samples and ask us any questions, we are more than happy to help.

Our Chairman, Roy Wakeman OBE, led a management buyout of the company 4 years ago, taking over from Darren and Tracey Elmes.
Roy is a leading figure and driving force in the timber and joinery Industry. He has led the industry as President of the BWF (British Woodworking Federation) three times in his career, 1987, 2001 and 2013. He was Chairman of the Construction Confederation in 2001 and has previously chaired the Networking Forum for the CPA (Construction Products Association) for 11 years. Until recently he was the Chairman of the Confederation of Timber Industries (CTI).
The sales team is led by our manager Dean Goodwin and is supported by Maria Charles
Our talented installations team consists of Lee Jarman, Operations Manager, Gary Spence, Surveyor and installers Ben Fawcett, Edward Markham and Daniel Parker.
Our friendly Administration department is led by Angela Pearson who is on hand to guide you through your journey with us.
OUR HISTORY
We have been a strong presence in the window and door industry for a significant number of years, and take pride in using that experience to provide the best possible service for our customers.
Established in 1995 by Darren and Tracey Elmes, we have gone from strength to strength. Initially operating in Grantham, we soon had to move to larger premises in 2004. In 2007 new products were being introduced into the industry so our product range was expanded to include timber. Further expansion in 2011 resulted in the move to our current location, a converted stone barn near Caythorpe, perfect due to the 1320 sq ft floor space and ample parking right outside.
In 2017 we were acquired in a management buyout, led by Roy Wakeman OBE, a leading industry figurehead.
In 2023 we opened our second showroom, Timber Windows of Stamford.
Our materials
We are the regions sole provider of Timber Windows and also offer the esteemed Evolution range of windows and doors. Along side these we have Aluminium and uPVC. Finding the right material for your property and budget is vital and we are here to help. Read more about all our materials.
We are a member of IWA – Deposit and Guarantee Protection
The IWA is the most trusted Deposit & Guarantee protection in the UK, operating since 1985.
When you have a product installed by us you will be covered by:
- An Insurance Backed Guarantee. This means if we cease to trade your investment will be protected.
- Deposit Protection Scheme. If we cease to trade after you have paid a deposit and we are unable to carry out the work, IWA will either protect that deposit and arrange the completion of the contract or will refund it.
