We recently installed a floating mullion window at this gorgeous Navenby property.
What is a floating mullion?
A mullion is the vertical part of the frame which normally forms the division between two sides of a window. A floating mullion is when this part of the frame is attached to one side of the window so that when the window is opened the frame moves too, creating a wide open space.
Why did our customer opt for a floating mullion?
The family wanted an easy access point in/out of the garden for entertaining and BBQs. Having the window open all the way out means food and drink can easily be passed from inside the house into the garden and vice versa.
