The TimberWindows.com range
![]()
We offer an extensive range of timber windows and doors in
hardwood and F.S.C certified softwood.
The range includes storm-proof and flush casement
windows, vertical sliding sash windows and tilt/turn windows.
The door options include bi-folds, sliding patios, French doors
and numerous residential door designs.
All products are offered on a supplied and installed basis and
are delivered to your home having already had extremely high
specification insulating glass units fitted during the
manufacturing process, thereby avoiding time consuming glazing
after installation and reducing the chance of any last minute
glass breakages.
Decoration of windows and doors can be a messy and smelly
business and is also subject to the vagaries of our British
climate, with this in mind all of our windows and doors are
supplied pre-finished in any RAL paint colour, they can also be
supplied with a different colour finish inside and out, or,
where preferred a selection of stained or oiled finishes are
also available.
Please follow the link below for further details on this
exceptional range of made to measure products.

The Bygone Collection.
The Bygone Collection comprises a range of sliding sash windows,
it is our opinion and the opinion of a number of planning
officers throughout the country that this range offers the most
authentic sliding sash window that is available in PVCu. These
windows are supplied with an authentic white or cream painted
wood effect finish which is so authentic they are regularly
mistaken for traditional timber frames.
The range is supplied factory glazed with high specification
insulating glass units fitted as standard, this arrangement
achieves a Window Energy Rating of A and is so efficient that a
Bygone window can reduce heat loss by over 74% (compared to a
single glazed window), when installed in place of a single
glazed window. Other options include authentic surface mounted
glazing bars with a patented fixing system, and a range of
traditional style furniture options including brass, chrome and
pewter finishes.
The Evolution range.
The Evolution range
perfectly complements our Bygone range, where the Bygone range
offers sliding sash windows Evolution specialise in casement
windows. We prefer to call this product a TIMBER REPLACEMENT
window rather than a PVCu window as there is so much care and
attention lavished on the range to provide a traditional timber
appearance, without the ongoing maintenance generally associated
with timber.
There are various finishes available including white and cream
wood effect options which are both a perfect colour match for
the Bygone range, Natural Wood provides a dark satinwood type
finish, Irish oak, and a Tudor finish incorporating a painted
black wood effect. All are provided with a Window Energy Rating
of A as standard.
Innovative features include unique butt jointing techniques to
mimic the appearance of traditional timber frames, dummy opening
casements to all fixed [non opening] glazed lights, thereby
providing a balanced appearance with equal glass areas, and a
range of traditional style cast iron type handle designs.
The authenticity can be further enhanced by specifying
the windows with surface mounted glazing bars or a period leaded
glass design.
Should you require a door to match this can also be accommodated
within the range and, thanks to substantial recent investment in
the production process all frames can now be supplied in any RAL
paint finish.
The Rehau range.
Rehau are one of the largest PVCu extruders in Europe and they
are the supplier that we have the longest association with.
While you may not be familiar with the name, it is
extremely likely that you have Rehau products somewhere within
your home, garden or car.
Rehau have continually updated this range over many years to
remain at the forefront in terms of design, security and
insulation values. We offer the range with a Window Energy
Rating of B as standard although an A rating can easily be
achieved with a further upgrade to the glazing if required.
The range includes casement windows, tilt/turn windows, sliding
sash windows, residential doors, patio doors, French doors and
conservatories. All of these products are offered in white,
rosewood, light oak, cream wood-grain and white wood-grain
finishes, and we believe that they represent excellent value for
money for a branded and energy rated product, with great
aesthetics and high security locking systems all provided as
standard.
Smart Aluminium range
Smart Aluminium Alitherm and Duotherm windows are specifically
designed for use in domestic situations.
They are available in a range of powder coated colours
and are intended to be virtually maintenance-free for decades.
They are thermally efficient, having 28mm sealed glass
units and Polyamide thermal breaks to achieve up to an A rating.
We also offer secondary double glazing for situations
where full replacement would be too costly or prohibited by
Listed Buildings consent.
Conservatories and Porches
Most of our installations comprise replacing domestic window and
doors or installing into new builds.
However we also offer a diverse range of bespoke
conservatories and porches and by using our specialist CAD
system we give you the opportunity to see a drawing of your
chosen style, and a picture of the proposed finished
installation, before you even ask us to go ahead!
With the outside taken care of, we can also turn our attention
to the inside with the installation of electrics,
flooring options, and plastering.
Alternatively you can arrange as much of the base work and
internal finishing as you like; and we will just install the
frames and roof on to your own base work.
The options on the frames are endless as we can build
conservatories and porches using all our product ranges; Rehau
uPVC, Evolution or Bygone
wood-effect uPVC, Hardwood, European Redwood, and Aluminium.
Please click on the
door
and
window
ranges to see the colour and glazing options for each type of
frame.
Smaller constructions such as porches and garden rooms are also
designed and made to measure.
Conservatory Roof materials are usually multiple layered
polycarbonate which is available in a range of colours to
compliment your chosen style and colour of frame. We also
offer glass roof options and a GRP roof option for porches and
garden rooms. A large area roof would include at least one
tie bar. Manually or electrically operated roof vents are
available to provide additional ventilation during warm weather. |
